What's wrong with the blog world now?

What the hell is wrong with the blogging world today? Ever since the PRU baru2 ni (or before), I sensed a sudden tide of change across everyone's blog. Mine included. Yup, I got myself involved too.

Everyone is condemning everyone. Yang ni kutuk yg ni.. yang tuh kutuk yg tuh.. Sume taknak ngaku salah. Everyone seems to be caught in the 'freedom of speech' frenzy.

Everything, yup even freedom too, has it's limitations. So let's limit what we say in our blogs, shall we? Just because you have the freedom to do something, doesn't mean you have to, right?

Let's cut all this nonsense. Let's turn over a new leaf. Let's start over. Let's forgive and forget. After all, we're all friends, we're all Muslims.

TO ALL I'VE OFFENDED EITHER INTENTIONALLY OR NOT, PLEASE FORGIVE ME.

May Allah protect us and forgive us from all our short comings. Ameen.

all of us ought to learn the rules of disagreement in Islam....as far as I know laa kan....sebolehnya kita elakkanlah dari disagreement nih, it is not liked in Islam, selagi boleh berdiskusi secara damai dan tenang tanpa kritikan2...even yang membina..baik kita berbincang dulu...

Enough of blog drama. Lets write something that is more beneficial in a healthy way. Thanks Hubab for posting this one up.It seems that blog has been used as a medium to crap about other people implicitly. Please dont smear blogs with emotions and do practice the freedom of speech, again,in a healthier way.

I'm glad people are starting to get back to their senses. InsyaAllah dgn kesedaran ini, blog world would come to peace sooner, rather than latter. Ameen.

Salam,
I consider it a healthy discussion lagi. Maybe, people still can't put their emotion aside lagi lah.
I, myself included.
Macam apa yg jadi di blog amar. I learned a lot from the discussion. Just i feel it is necessary that emotion should be put aside and lebih terbuka kepada komen or teguran orang lain.

i don't think it's healthy when there's so much at stake. Kalau dah pecah belahkan umat, it's not healthy. Kita orang islam, we have to consider a lot of things. bukan macam mat salleh, boleh maen buat suka hati je..

jadi macam isu ayaan hirsi buat video, kartun lukis nabi, sume tuh atas dasar freedom of speech. tapi is that the freedom of speech yg kite nak?

macam ni.. ayaan hirsi kutuk islam atas alasan kritikan membina. but does she know Islam in the first place to critic? kritikan membina tu just away to get away with mencela islam. Is that what we want? I say no.

enough said. same2 la kita menyemai the rules of disagreement in Islam.

Huhu, honestly, I don't think the way Amar buat teguran itu offensive.

Maybe i say it's healthy because ade benda yang menyedarkan aku from the 'discussion'.
I learned something. That's something healthy, isn't it.

Macam makan ubat, ada lah pahitnya. And dalam case ni, the bitterness really is not necessary.
It could have been done better lah, kot. Aku sendiri pon terdedah kepada confrontation sebegini but i will open up for criticism as i know i will do mistakes and if i'm wrong. i'll apologize.

Compliment to the sides yang admit their mistakes and improve. On the other hand, tegur juga apa yang salah.

The outcome?
Yang menegur learn something
Yang ditegur learn something
Yang observer learn something jgk

I believe the people yang comment2 ni pn cukup proffesional already. Maybe the way we read it je yang buat it seems confrontational.huhu.
Being optimistic pn x salah kan.

Hehe.

Can anybody give some direction where i can get the rules of disagreement tu. I'd love to read about it.
Salam

I've read Amar's blog and I totally understand the things he wanted to point out.As a third party observer,I am glad he brought up that issue, but again, the way he criticized things is maybe unacceptable to whom he refers to.I myself learn a lot from that post too.All I could say now,use the freedom of speech wisely and carefully. But I can see Amar had it coming, and he is well prepared for that.Cease fire people.

As I mentioned earlier, this blog post was meant to forgive and forget. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone, as I noticed the occurrence in many other blogs as well (this one included).

But glad many are beginning to see the light again. Let's stop condemning others. Seek alternatives.

And Muhaimin. You can learn a lot of things from everything. The fact that you merely learn something doesn't mean that it's healthy. Kene jugak weigh the pro's and con's of things as well. If there's greater good, than it's healthy. If not, well...

Muhaimin follow this link
You can actually just google search it.

Even though this website mainly deals with disputes regarding fiqh and how to interpret Quran and Hadith, some points can be taken as well.

One of it was about taking the well being of the Muslim Ummah into consideration.

Baru cam nak tanye sbb nobody seems to be replying.
Silly me juga, i might have as well just googled it. Thanks anyway.

I'm thinking about boycotting all blogs that are still berapi-api.. it's not good for my readers. I want us to bersatu. ke camne?

Anonymous said...

herm,
bolehke disapproving provocative comment?
membantu ke utk stop this berapi2 stuff ek?
On the other hand, kalo komen die yg berapi2 tu ade point jgk. take the point. Ape yang kita salah, kita betulkan, and tmbh la credit to the pengkomen. Apa yang boleh menyebabkan kekalutan tu, kita tapis lah. Then, boleh kot kurgkan blogger warming ni.haha

ah yes..nampak nyer sume org realized. that's why I too go on a hiatus for awhile.

yes we have to be responsible with what we write but sometimes ader gak masa kiter jadi irresponsible and tulis je ape kite nak without further consideration....

jadi janganlah condemn org melampau2 sebab sumer org ader gak time dier weak

Ashwaq said...

yes...setuju ngan jurai...
we have to be responsible on what we write..^_^

Hubab Al Munzir Asmawi said...

owh, muhaimin. if you got me wrong. what i meant was to buang sementara any links to blogs yg masih bergaduh2 ni.. that's all.

and i totally agree with what jurai said. klu kite salah, kite ngaku, kite mintak maaf. we take responsibility. Allah pon lagi sayangkan hambanye yg ble buat salah, derang sedar, and segera bertaubat.

buka get you wrong kot. haha.
