It was the final home game of the season for Vandy and hence, it was the last Memorial Gym appearance for senior basketball players, Shan Foster, Alex Gordon, Ross Netlner, and Alan Metcalfe. You can't ask for a better game to deliver your performance of the career other than this!
Arguably, Shan Foster single handedly lead the Commodores to victory by scoring a career and record high of 42 points during this game. He brought the game to extra time by scoring a last minute 3 pointer, and later, won the game for Vandy by scoring another 3 pointer. He scored 7 straight 3 points. It was stuff from out of this world!
After the game, senior players were given a standing ovation from the supporters all around and presented with flowers. I surely enjoyed this match.
