First Class Stupidity

When you have first class stupidity, there's no beating you. You are the MAN!!!

Recently, Pak Lah announced that Terengganu were allowed to use the Mercedes E200 kompressor, but not for the use of the exco. Those Mercs, are only to be used by their foreign dignitaries. Read here and here.

So all 14 cars, worth RM3.43 million, will be used only by those visitors to the state.

No disrespect, but will there be a need to use all 14 cars at once? Will there ever be a time when that many people come to the state, all at once? I surely doubt that. Allocating 2-3 cars for that purpose would be more than enough, but allocating 14 is some what a waste. The cars will be let to rot if not used.

And now, what will be the next move of Terengganu? Will they buy new Perdana V6's or simply use their 'old' ones instead? We'll see.

If true that the previous Perdana's were old and the need to change cars is there (DAP penang didn't change cars after going into office) ,I honestly believe that it would be wise to sell all but save 2-3 Mercs for the use of foreign dignitaries visiting the state. Then buy new Perdana units. I'm sure they'll be saving money doing so. But that's just my ten cent opinion.
